Beginner Classes
The formatting of our beginner courses is very simple: We teach one dance for three weeks and then we change to a different dance. These classes are designed for the absolute beginner and aim to teach you the first three steps of each dance. They are great fun and they do get very busy so make sure you enrol early. Once you finish a course, simply continue onto the next one and learn new dances.
On Monday's we have a beginner class at 7.00pm followed by our weekly social dance and then Improvers class at 8.45pm
Next start dates for beginner classes:
Monday 3rd August at Parkside social club, Bramhall SK7 3DT 7.00pm Beginner...Why not stay on for our one hour social at 7.45pm 8.45pm Improvers level
Thursday 6th August at Bramhall Centre Point in Bramhall SK71AL 7.45pm (followed by advanced class at 8.45pm)
After the above dates, the next courses will be 24th and 27th August.

If you take one class on one evening the price is £10
One hour social dance £3.00 (first social dance is free)
If you take two classes on one evening the price is £13

Improver/Intermediate Classes
Our ongoing Intermediate and Improvers classes are for the dancers that feel comfortable with the basics. We will generally work on new steps with emphasis on better technique and style. The class lasts for 45 minutes. Our Intermediate/Improvers class follows the beginners class on Mondays.
Advanced class
Working on the finer points of dance such as arm styling, high level of choreography, advanced movement and styling. Every Thursday at 8.45pm
(silver and Gold level)
Monday night social dance Session
Every Monday between the classes at 7.45pm is our one hour social dance. A chance for any of our students no matter what level to come along to Bramhall and practice what you are learning in a relaxed and informal setting with great music being played. (open only to active SDC students). £3pp. Feel free to go and buy yourself a drink from the bar and either practice or simply enjoy watching the dancers at all levels. Teachers are on hand to help if needed.
You would need to be taking part in current courses to attend our practice sessions.

Kids Classes Bramhall
Every Friday we have great classes for our younger dancers. Working on Ballroom and Latin American, your little ones will learn balance, grace and poise in our lovely friendly classes. Dances such as Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Charleston, Waltz, Fox Trot etc etc.
Classes from 4th September 2026 will be held at our new venue (Bramhall Community Hub) within the Methodist church on Bramhall Lane.
Medal gradings once/twice per year plus end of year show.
- 6 years old + and brand new starters 5.30pm
- 8 years + 6pm
- £8 pay as you go. Medal tests taken once/twice per year plus our fantastic end of year show for ALL our young dancers to be part of.

Private Lessons
Designed for the more serious dancer that wishes to take their dancing to a much higher technical and stylish level. Private lessons are ideal for perfecting that hip movement or the lovely rise and fall. You can work on any dance you like and lessons are booked direct with your teacher at mutually convenient times.

Wedding Lessons (First Dance)
Make your special day even more special with your very own choreographed first dance.
You choose the music and let us choreograph the perfect routine for you both. We have taught literally hundreds of first dance routines and often this part of your day will stay in your memories for many years to come. Whether you want the fairy tale Waltz or a contemporary style we can cater for your every need.
- Bronze Package: 3 private lessons £195 Simple beautiful routine around 1 min 30 seconds.
- Silver Package: 5 Private lessons £320 slightly flashier routine again around 1 min 30 seconds plus.
- Gold Package: 10 Private Lessons. Full Fred and Ginger style!! Make an Impact with this package. £620
- All packages offer you 3 practice nights which are on Friday evenings.
